Moments of relaxation are particularly important in difficult times
Massage Chair World is taking stock of the economic situation and, bucking the trend, is investing in additional, spacious storage space. “It is foreseeable that we will have to overcome further delivery bottlenecks. Even though the Corona container traffic jam has not yet been completely overcome,” explains Michael Roedeske, owner of Massagesessel Welt. The traffic jam on the main delivery routes is not his only concern: "Because there are no longer any trains running in Ukraine, the direct connection from China to Germany has been cut off. There is a lack of Ukrainian drivers in truck transport and capacities in sea transport have also been exhausted. It is more than unlikely that the situation will ease by the end of the year," says the entrepreneur. The additional storage space is intended to ensure short delivery times in the future.

More than wellness
With their massage chairs, Michael Roedeske and Manuela Radu, the founders of the massage chair world, don't just want to offer wellness. The products, which are now stored in an additional 200 m² of storage space in Fellbach Oeffingen, are much more than just a luxury item: "I got to know massage chairs in their use for health and still see them as such. Our products are used in companies as part of company health management or in retirement homes. They provide a moment of relaxation for the head and body - that is an important aspect that cannot be neglected, especially in today's world," says the expert.  The additional 300 massage chairs that can be stored in the new area ensure the massage chair world's ability to deliver. The warehouse is planned as a new central warehouse and expands the existing premises in Remshalden. In the future, these will only serve as delivery and collection warehouses.

Ensure short delivery times
“We hope that we are well equipped to offer people in companies and at home a brief moment of relaxation, even in difficult times,” says Manuela Radu. The Massage Chair World opened a showroom in Weinstadt in July 2021 with the largest massage chair exhibition in Europe. Over 30 models are presented there that can be used both privately and commercially. And since autumn 2021, customers in Leverkusen have been able to test products from well-known manufacturers at their leisure and get free advice from experts about their needs.
