In case of errors or problems, you can rely on our service to isolate and solve the problem. To do this, simply contact us by phone or e-mail. If a repair is unavoidable, we will undoubtedly take care of it and send our own service personnel to you.

Proper care and cleaning of your massage chair will give it a long life. When cleaning, we distinguish between three areas.

The inner trim of the massage chair is usually made of artificial or genuine leather. The first rough cleaning is done here with a vacuum cleaner (for small parts, fluff). We are happy to recommend other cleaning agents in our video, below this post.

Outside very often surrounds the chair plastic, as well as in the calf and foot areas. For these areas, we recommend a microfiber cloth, in conjunction with a glass cleaner. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners.

The third component is the remote control, or control unit. Please avoid using a microfiber cloth that is too wet.

Your own massage chair offers you a touch of luxury and absolute relaxation. But how do you get into the massage chair gracefully?

This is quite simple: in order not to damage the mechanism, shoes are usually required to be removed. Now position yourself next to the massage chair and let your buttocks slide onto the seat surface. Pull your feet back and position your arms and upper body. And you can start your favorite program.

Which technology is better?

For a human-like, personalized massage, a 3D or 4D massage chair is the best choice.

While a 2D massage chair works on X and Y axes, 3D runs on the X, Y and Z axes. This massage technology is designed to make you feel like a human is massaging you.

The rollers can push further into your back, and you can adjust the intensity of the rollers, from very gentle to deep tissue. 3D massage chairs are great for households with multiple users, as everyone can easily find the perfect intensity for their personal preferences.

All our brand massage chairs have a certain number of automatic programs. In these programs, certain types of massage, especially recommended, are arranged in optimal order and duration.

The integrated automatic switch-off terminates a massage sequence after approx. 15 minutes (recommended massage time). Programs for the neck-shoulder area, the entire back and the lumbar area are some of the possible massage programs. By selecting a special program, the focus of the massage is determined on the massage chair. In the selected area the massage is then mainly but not exclusively active.

During the tapping and loosening massage, the back is tapped from the neck to the coccyx using special movements of the massage mechanism. The movement is intended to imitate the loosening action of the edges of the hands. The speed of this massage technique can also be adjusted individually. The respective area of the back can also be adjusted according to your own wishes.

Effect:
The muscles and tissues are loosened by the tapping massage. Already existing tensions in the individual muscle groups can be released by the even tapping movements. Often, tension and other complaints are caused by nerve endings pinched between the individual vertebrae.

Loosening at the relevant points can allow the nerve endings to be exposed again and the pain to subside or even disappear completely.

A contraindication is generally a factor (e.g. age, certain previous illnesses, injuries, etc., but also conditions such as pregnancy) that speaks against a certain diagnostic or therapeutic measure (e.g. the administration of a drug). This means, for example, that a drug may now no longer be taken because of a present contraindication or, in our case, that one should not use a massage chair.

Contraindications to using a massage chair: examples

In the following cases, you should refrain from using a massage chair:

• In case of infectious skin disease
• For recent fractures, sprains or bruises.
• For open, unhealed wounds in the massage area
• In case of acute fever or severe indisposition
• Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair consciousness.
• If you weigh more than 150 kg
• In case of a tendency to seizures
• In case of brain damage or also after brain surgery
• Immediately after chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

In the following cases, you should consult with your treating physician before using a massage chair and pay special attention to your body's reaction during the massage:

• In case of epilepsy or similar seizure disorders
• For thrombosis and venous disorders
• For moderate to severe scoliosis
• For osteoporosis
• In case of trauma to the spine
• In the event of an acute attack of gout
• In the event of a high-risk pregnancy
• For autoimmune diseases

In some of the cases mentioned above, massage can be very helpful, in others, some massage options should be avoided if necessary.

Air cushion is located in the leg and seat area of the massage chair. They adapt individually to the body shapes due to their enormous flexibility. Air is pumped into the air chambers via a compressor, which is invisible from the outside inside the massage chair, and with their help pressure is applied to the calves. This creates an application similar to lymphatic drainage. In the area of the seat, gentle and relaxing undulations are created by inflating the individual air chambers. The intensity of the air pressure can also be manually adjusted on most devices.

Effect:

Air pressure or air massage can be compared to lymphatic drainage. The blood and other fluids that have accumulated in the legs are gently pushed upwards, supporting the natural blood circulation. Regular use can actively prevent thrombosis.

There are numerous other types of massage in the various models of our massage chairs, which can be called a combination and extension of those listed.

The blood vessels provide the blood supply, the lymphatic vessels the disposal of tissue fluid. Both systems complement each other. If the lymphatic channels are disturbed, swellings form because the tissue water is not sufficiently removed. Swelling is particularly common after injuries and operations, but also in many vascular diseases.

The medical profession calls the symptom "edema" or more precisely "lymphedema". With lymphatic drainage, the physiotherapist stimulates the natural lymphatic function so that the tissue water is pumped out more effectively. The most important principle of lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique. The term "manual lymphatic drainage" (MLD) means simple massage; "complex physical decongestive therapy" includes other steps.

During the roller massage or stretching massage, the massage rollers of the massage chair run up and down the entire back along the spine. The distance between the rollers and the spine can be adjusted individually. The flexibility of the massage rollers ensures that the rollers do not run directly on the spine, but move on a track parallel to it.

Effect:

The roller massage takes a decisive role within the different types of massage. By running the rollers up and down, the spine is stretched and relieved. Furthermore, the pressure is taken off the intervertebral discs. The movement of the vertebral bodies during stretching allows the body's own fluid to flow back into the intervertebral discs, thus restoring their shock-absorbing effect.

It has been proven that regular relief of the spine can clearly prevent over 50% of all back complaints.

Which track is better?

An L-Track is simplified an extension of the S-Track and can massage more areas of your body. Massage chairs with an S-Track design are a little less expensive, but they don't offer as much coverage. If you're looking for a massage chair to help your lower back, hamstrings, or glutes, you should choose an L-Track.

The most important part of a massage chair are the massage rollers. They are divided into three categories: 2D, 3D and 4D.

In 2D, the rollers move in 2 directions. Once in the dimension up and down. In the second dimension to the right and left, for example for massage in the shoulder area.
