Back pain & orthopaedic problems
Clinical study: Massage therapy for the orthopaedic patient

Research:
This review examines the effectiveness of massage therapy for orthopaedic patients. As a significant proportion of the population is affected by orthopaedic complaints and many already use massage as a form of treatment, existing studies and literature were systematically reviewed and analyzed. The evaluation provides promising initial results.

Results:
Massage therapy is particularly effective for orthopaedic patients with lower back pain and can also have a positive effect on other orthopaedic complaints. It is considered a safe method, enjoys a high level of patient satisfaction and has been shown to help reduce pain and functional limitations
