Subacute and chronic lower back pain
Clinical studyMassage for lower back pain.
Research:
Thirteen randomized trials were included in this systematic review.
Results:
The results suggest that massage may be beneficial for patients with subacute and chronic non-specific low back pain, especially in combination with exercise and education. However, further studies are needed to confirm these conclusions, assess the impact of massage on return to work, and determine the cost-effectiveness of massage as an intervention for low back pain.
